A Thousand-Color Palette: Főnix Events Organizing NPO

The work of Főnix Events Organizing NPO manifests itself in an annual one million visitors to Debrecen from all over the world. We are one of the largest non-profit organizations in Hungary, specializing in hosting and arranging various sports and cultural events. Be it a concert of classical or popular music, an exhibition, a theater performance, a ballet show, an international conference, a world championship in gymnastics, a boxing or an indoor football gala, a basketball cup game, a nationwide dance competition, or an ice-show: the word "impossible" is not in our dictionary.

The four chief areas of our activities are:

- organizing major cultural events in Debrecen (for example: Debrecen Flower Festival, Béla Bartók International Choir Competition and Folk Music Festival, International Festival of Military Bands, Debrecen Jazz Days...)

- operating Kölcsey Convention Center and hosting cultural events

- operating Főnix Hall

- operating Apolló Movie Theater
